Master of Laws (cand.jur) from the University of Copenhagen in 1976.

From September 1976 I employed as attorney-at-law in a small office in Korsør.

In 1979 I was admitted as attorney-at-law, and I was later entitled Right to Audience before the Danish High Courts.

From 1984 to 1986, I was employed as attorney-at-law in the Greve/Hundige area. In 1986, I became an independent attorney-at-law in Holbæk, together with attorney-at-law Michael Abel, where I have worked since.

Since January 1st 1997, I have been authorized as a trustee at the Court in Holbæk. I deal with advice from private and business clients, primarily about the areas mentioned above.

I am a member of Advodan's Ethics Committee, and member of Advodan's Committee on Conflicts of Interest. In December 2013, I was appointed as a member of the Danish Lawyers' Ethics Committee.

For a 6-year period, I have been a member of the Circuit Board for the third law district under the Danish Law Society.

At the beginning of 2010, I was appointed by the Ministry of Justice to act as a censor in the trial, which is now a statutory part of the exam to be awarded to obtain attorney-at-law’s appointment.

From 2013 to 2016, I was certified as insolvency attorney-at-law.
