About Jens Otto
I am a commercial and criminal law attorney, specializing in legal prosecution, including litigation and forced auctions, as well as criminal law. Additionally, I have expertise in property management and tenant law.
I completed my legal degree at the University of Copenhagen in 1979, followed by military service with the Guard Hussar Regiment and the Army Auditor, becoming a licensed attorney in 1983. I have been operating as an independent attorney since 1984, becoming a partner at Advodan Slagelse in 1990.
In 1984, I gained the right to appear in the Court of Appeals, and since 1991, I have had the right to appear in the Supreme Court. Since 2015, I have been appointed as a public defender, assisting parties with legal aid at the Court in Næstved and the Eastern High Court.
Other Professional Engagements
I have actively participated in collegial work, including serving in the Danish Bar Association's 3rd district for two terms, the latest as chairman.
Since 1979, I have been a member of the Danish Football Association's Appeals Board, and since 2013, I have held the position of chairman at the Slagelse Tennis Center.
